No, this is the fast I desire: . . . It is to share your bread with the hungry
– Isaiah 58:6-7
Project Isaiah is our annual High Holy Days food drive. Bring cans and other non-perishable food items throughout the Holy Days to the Food Bank barrels in the sanctuary foyer.
For those who may not know, the Food Bank supplies food to Central Pantry, to schools and to 30 other organizations in Boone County, including Russell Chapel and Tiger Pantry.
These are some of the foods that are always in demand:
peanut butter – corn and green beans – baby food – tuna and salmon – canned fruit – soup – rice or beans – cereals – pasta and sauces
For online donations click here. Send checks to CBS (note Project Isaiah on the memo line). These donations will go to the Food Bank along with our food items.
Our goal this year is to return our giving to 2021 levels, after a sharp drop in 2022—please be generous! With questions, contact Noah at HeringmanN@missouri.edu
