Congregation Beth Shalom, or “CBS,” is composed of approximately 130 member households from all over mid-Missouri. Located in Columbia, MO, we are one of the few Jewish congregations in the region. We are associated with the Union of Reform Judaism, and we strive to meet the needs of the entire Jewish community, including members previously affiliated with diverse Jewish movements and traditions. We have religious services on Friday nights, Saturday mornings, and Jewish holidays. We have active educational programs for both adults and youth, with religious school beginning at the preschool age and extending through high school. Our efforts at Tikkun Olam serve as an important part of our congregational programming and our relationship to the broader communities of mid-Missouri.
