Friday Night/Erev Shabbat Rabbi Phil Cohen leads Kabbalat Shabbat services in-person and via Zoom at 6:30 pm. The service includes prayers, songs and a few words of Torah. Check in with friends and share Shabbat. Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84124865329

Purim at CBS
By now you should have received a Purim bag order form in the mail. The form is also available on the CBS web page: https://cbsmo.org/purim-donation-form/
Orders are due next Monday, February 28.
Bag assembly is Saturday, March 12th and delivery is Sunday, March 13th.

Aid for Afghan Refugees
CBS is looking into the possibility of sponsoring a family of Afghan refugees, a responsibility that would include a significant commitment of service and financial support.
Another organizational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 1 at 7:30 pm via Zoom:
The Show Me True/False community screening will take place on Saturday, March 5th at 4 pm at the Missouri Theatre. Tickets are $5 each on a first-come, first-served basis.
The next meeting of the CBS Book Club will be on May 1 at 3 pm. We will be discussing House on Endless Waters by Emuna Elon. Please join us!

Donations to CBS are a good way to remember or honor people and special life events. Your gift can be directed to the CBS general fund, the rabbi’s discretionary fund (RDF), the library, the Sasha Yelon book fund, the school scholarship fund or the sacred music fund.
