This critically acclaimed film (2019) offers a nuanced dive into the power of media – videos from the West Bank as seen through the eyes of a young Jewish American woman. It challenges us to consider how our biases shape our interpretation of the world, while encouraging us all to be more media literate.
After the screening, join us for a live Q&A session via Zoom with filmmaker Ra’anan Alexandrowicz and host David Wilson, followed by guided small group discussions. This is a rare opportunity to not only hear from the director himself about a film’s creation and impact, but also engage in a structured community conversation around media and perception.
Stay tuned for more cultural programming that explores the richness and complexity of Jewish life.

Advocacy in Action — Debbie Kaplan Receives YES Moment Award
Debbie Kaplan was recently recognized with a YES Moment Award for her advocacy and dedication to her patients.
As an ambulatory nurse navigator, Debbie’s job is to guide patients through the complexities of care. Sometimes, doing that job means speaking up, digging deeper and making sure no concern goes unaddressed.
When she noticed serious risks to two of her patients, she didn’t hesitate to act — taking steps that ultimately changed their course of care.
Mazal Tov, Debbie!
