Our annual Project Isaiah food drive officially launches this week. In addition to Food Bank barrels in the vestibule, we have labeled brown paper bags available to take home and return. There is also a tzedakah box for cash or checks in the foyer and a Facebook page: click here to donate.

Thanks for helping feed hungry Columbians during our holiday season.

NEW: Shabbat services and dinner at Hillel Friday evening, October 3rd. No Friday services at CBS that night.

Volunteer to staff our booth in 1.5-hour shifts between noon and 6 pm each day.

We’re also gauging interest in CBS participation in the parade on Sunday. We need a group of at least 20 people to march.

Click here to sign up to staff the booth and to indicate your interest in the parade

With questions contact Rich at 913.205.5181 or rich.iken@gmail.com.

See you there!

Last weekend Mandana and her crew cleaned up the sanctuary building to get ready for the High Holy Days.

Our thanks to Mandana, Sheri Radman-Iken, Rebecca Smith, Jeremy Milarsky, Ellen Horwitz and Linda Lowenberg.

As we get ready for the High Holy Days, the gardens at CBS still need regular watering to look their best.

Please help by taking a turn watering the memorial gardens, which are on each side of the door to the new building.

Click here to sign up for a shift, which should take about an hour. With questions, contact Tanya Christiansen at tj_christiansen@yahoo.com
