For those of you dropping off kids at Hebrew school (11/30 & 12/7), Paul Eisenstein will host the Torah on Tap group in the Farmhouse.
As we have in previous years, CBS has adopted two families through the Voluntary Action Center’s holiday program: a single mom with four kids and a senior couple with disabilities.
Drop-off begins December 1 and deadline details are included on the SighUpGenius page.

Worship That Works: Supporting Spiritual Life in Small Congregations
Judy Schermer shares information about an exciting opportunity:
The Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) is offering a program specifically
designed for small congregations: an online course in six sessions for lay
leaders who are interested in leading communal worship and life-cycle
events.
The course begins in January 2023 and meets monthly from 7 pm-8:30
pm CST. It culminates in a worship, music, and song-leading conference,
Hava Nashira, May 21-24, 2023, at URJ’s Greene Family Camp in Bruceville,
TX. This is “an immersive few days … with 100+ other participants and the
most dynamic teachers leading prayer and song in the Jewish world.”
A former participant said, “I had a marvelous time connecting with similarly
impassioned people from other small congregations, and we continue to be
resources for each other.” Stipends are available for the six-session
course and the conference.
