The 2025/26 b’nai mitzvah class is raising money for new playground equipment by selling shirts and sweatshirts for Chanukkah. To order, click here. Or use a printed copy, available on the table in the sanctuary building foyer.
Orders are due November 12th so we can have everything printed and sorted in time for the Chanukkah party. Give payment to Debbie Kaplan, Emily Colvin in the CBS office, or Deidra McClendon.
In months with a fifth Sunday, CBS provides a full dinner to fellow Columbians in need through the Loaves & Fishes program. We are serving Sunday, November 30th, and we need donations of food items as well as volunteers to set up, serve, and clean up.
Bring food to the Ashley Street Center, 1509 Ashley Street (use the door with the ramp), at 3:30 pm that day. Volunteers setting up/serving should also arrive by 3:30 pm. Clean-up crew should arrive by 5:30 pm.
We expect to serve about 85 people, and the need for volunteers to serve is especially critical.
