As we move into fall and the lead-up to High Holy Days, let’s freshen up our Shabbat services. We’d like people to consider leading, especially Friday night.
There are service leader outlines in binders under the reading table in the sanctuary. Or design your own from either of our regular prayer books. Do it with a friend, or solo. Be creative!

As we get ready for the High Holy Days, the gardens at CBS still need regular watering to look their best.
Please help by taking a turn watering the memorial gardens, which are on each side of the door to the new building.
Click here to sign up for a shift, which should take about an hour. With questions, contact Tanya Christiansen at tj_christiansen@yahoo.com.
The CBS Book Club will meet again on Sunday, October 26th at 3 pm in the Farmhouse. We will be discussing Leonard Cohen: The Man Who Saw the Angels Fall by Christophe Lebold. This book won the 2024 National Jewish Book Award for biography in 2024.
All are welcome. Please email Jean Ispa (ispaj@missouri.edu) if you’d like to be added to (or subtracted from) Jean’s distribution list for the group.
Todah Rabbah to the organizers – Sheri Radman-Iken, Debbie Kaplan, Tim Parshall and Kim Eisenstein.
A good time was had by all!
Alex Sable-Smith, son of Margie Sable and George Smith, married Charlie D’Orlando on August 23 in Portland, Maine.
