Lunch in the Park returns this summer to the Armory, 701 E Ash (note: not Douglass Park). Volunteers assemble and serve sack lunches to children and are welcome to interact with the kids as well.

CBS volunteers are needed for dates in July. The lunches are served from 12 noon to 1 pm, so volunteers should be at the Armory by 11:45 am and plan on staying no later than 1:15 pm.

– This is a great time of year for members of our congregation to join us in the garden – whether it’s just one time or every week. Our work days are every Sunday from 10 am – noon. Soon we will add Wednesday mornings, and the start time will change to 9 am once it gets hot.

– Here’s a link to an article in the Food Bank newsletter highlighting the Interfaith Garden hosted by CBS on our property. That’s Brent in the grey shirt!
