The Tikkun Olam Committee invites you to provide bedding for children in our community. During the fall opener on Saturday, September 14th, we will collect new twin sheets, pillows, mattress pads, mattress covers, blankets, and duvets to distribute through SHP, a local nonprofit that builds and delivers beds with bedding to children in Columbia.

In months with a fifth Sunday, CBS provides a full dinner to fellow Columbians in need through the Loaves & Fishes program. We are serving Sunday, September 29th, and we need donations of food items as well as volunteers to set up, serve, and clean up.
Bring food to the Ashley Street Center, 1509 Ashley Street (use the door with the ramp), at 3:30 pm – note time and venue change! – that day. Volunteers setting up/serving/cleaning up should also arrive by 3:30 pm. We expect to serve about 85 people, and the need for volunteers to serve is especially critical.
Do we have your family’s information listed correctly? If not, or if you need to add someone, please send a note to Mary at maxmax@mchsi.com.
