Loaves & Fishes
CBS members generously donated time, food and money and allowed us to serve a nutritious meal to about 85 diners at Loaves and Fishes last Sunday. We had enough food to offer seconds to our guests and even had some leftovers to take to St. Francis House.
Special thanks to those who helped in the kitchen and dining room: Deborah & John Zemke, Joel Ray, Elizabeth Hornbeck, Dana & Bruce Weston and Margie Sable.
Todah Rabbah to our donors: Vicky Riback Wilson, Marilyn Childers, Dee Dee Strnad, Chelsea Garneau, Kelly Durante, Dana Weston, Hannah Alexander, Debi Kupferer, Deborah & John Zemke, Sheri Radman-Iken, Nikki Krawitz, Margie Sable, Alyce Turner, Tanya Christiansen, Joan Luterman, Nancy Ray, Harriet Yelon, Julie Deering, and Vera Reichlin.
The next CBS-sponsored dinner at Loaves and Fishes will be Sunday, October 29th. To get involved or for help with navigating the process of signing up/participating, please contact Noah at heringmann@missouri.edu or Brent at brentdeelg@gmail.com.
Thanks all!
**We still need a few volunteers in August and September**
With the hot and dry weather it takes extra water to keep the gardens on each side of the door to the new building looking good. (These together are the memorial garden.) We need volunteers to take a turn with the watering. Please sign up for a date(s) with the SignUpGenius link below. If you have questions, contact Tanya Christiansen at
