In months with a fifth Sunday, CBS provides a full dinner to fellow Columbians in need through the Loaves & Fishes program. We are serving Sunday, August 30th, and we need donations of food items as well as volunteers to set up, serve, and clean up.

NOTE new directions: Bring food to the new Loaves and Fishes kitchen at VAC Opportunity Campus (The Hub), 1304 Bowling St. This is the same side street as the old location, but located right at the intersection of Bowling St and the Business Loop. Turn right immediately to enter the parking lot and then go left around the building to the third entrance (kitchen door, not dining room door). The kitchen door is in the second building, next to a door with a sign that says Exit Only.

The kitchen door unlocks automatically at 3:30 for food deliveries and setup/serving volunteers. Clean-up crew should arrive by 5:15 pm.

We expect to serve about 160 meals, and the need for volunteers to serve is especially critical.

Tap here for the sign-up list. And thanks!

With questions, please contact Noah at heringmann@missouri.edu or Brent at brentdeelg@gmail.com.
