We kept our Souper Sunday tradition alive and well by setting new records for volume (460 soup packets) and time (less than 75 minutes), all thanks to our many amazing volunteers, from kids to grandparents.

We had 23 volunteers from CBS and the wider Jewish community as well as five volunteers from First Baptist, including Pastor Kristin McAtee. This is the second year of our collaboration with them.

On top of assembling soup packets, our volunteers generously donated a substantial portion of the materials cost. Jeanne Snodgrass and Amanda Rainey once again assisted by hosting the event at Hillel and ordering beans wholesale for us (respectively). The packets were delivered to Russell Chapel Food Pantry in downtown Columbia.

Thanks to everyone who took part!
